How do I know if I need to update my voter registration?
Many Baylor students need to update their voter registration since many are not from McLennan County and are not currently living at their original home address.
If you are registered to vote at your parents’ or home address away from Baylor, you have several voting options
You may register to vote at your Baylor residence or keep your registration at your home address.
Freshman living on campus: You must register using your One Bear Place address found on BearWeb rather than the physical address of your dorm.
Your name must be listed on your voter registration form in exactly the same way it appears on your ID
You decide where you reside for voting purposes, but you cannot register in both locations.
If you keep your voter registration at your home address and will not be home during the early voting period or on Election Day, you can request that a ballot by mail be sent to you at your college address.
The deadline to apply for a Texas ballot by mail is October 7, 2024. The Joint General Election is November 5, 2024.
