Chief Justice of the Student Court
The Chief Justice is in charge of overseeing the Student Court. The duties of the Chief Justice include making sure the rest of the Court follows proper procedures, casting the tie-breaker vote, and scheduling hearings and meetings. The Chief Justice is also responsible for choosing a Deputy Chief Justice who presides over the Court in the absence of the Chief Justice.
2026-2027 Student Body Chief Justice
Nikolas Mizrany
Nikolas Mizrany is a senior at Baylor University studying Finance and Economics on the Pre-Law track.
Nikolas currently serves as Chief Justice of Baylor's Student Court, where he leads the Court in interpreting the Student Body Constitution and hearing cases ranging from Electoral disputes to parking citations. He joined the Court as a clerk in his sophomore year and later served as an Associate Justice before being named Chief Justice.
Outside of the Student Court, Nikolas works on campus as a teaching assistant for a financial modeling course. A native of Cypress, Texas, he enjoys tennis, chess, hiking, and board games in his free time.
Following graduation, Nikolas plans to attend law school, where he hopes to pursue his interests in financial crimes, criminal defense, and contract law.
