Sunday, February 26
4:00 PM - We recommend arriving to DC no later than this time
6:00 PM - Opening dinner reception at the George Hotel (15 E St NW, Washington, DC 20001); Business Casual
8:00 PM - Group self-guided walking tour of the National Mall beginning from George Hotel
Monday, February 27
This day is devoted primarily to advocating alongside Big 12 institutional partners on state-related issues. Attire for the work day is business professional. Attire after 3:00 PM activities are smart casual.

8:30 AM - Light breakfast and team check-ins; location: room 2043, Rayburn House Office Bldg.
9:00 AM - Remarks from Congressman, Pete Sessions
Approx. 10:15 AM to 12:00 PM - Meetings with lawmakers in 30 minute increments
12:00 PM - Lunch (visit the Experience DC page for recommendations); cafeterias are located nearby
Approx. 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM - Meetings with lawmakers in 30 minute increments
5:00 PM to 6:30 PM - Big 12 On the Hill Reception, remarks by Big 12 Government Relations officers, hors d'oeuvres and beverages provided, location: Arnold & Porter 601 Massachusetts Ave NW, Washington, DC
Tuesday, February 28
This day is devoted primarily to advocating alongside state institutional partners on industry-wide issues. Attire for the work day is business professional. Attire for activities after 3:00 PM is smart casual.
8:30 AM - Light breakfast and pre-meetings check-in; location: forthcoming
9:00 AM - Recent graduate panel: hear from recent college graduates who now work on the Hill
Approx. 10:15 AM to 12:00 PM - Meetings with lawmakers in 30 minute increments
12:00 PM - Lunch (visit the Experience DC page for recommendations); cafeterias are located nearby
Approx. 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM - Meetings with lawmakers in 30 minute increments
This evening has been left unplanned to allow delegations the opportunity to enjoy an evening in DC as they wish.
